Volumes of trade musicdownloads doubled in 2006
According to Ifpi, the international federation of music producers, is the volume of trade of the digital music sale last year doubled. The increase is enough to not to compensate however the loss of the cd-market.
There became last year for only gladly one and a half billion euro legally at music downloaded. With that made the sale of digital music approximately 10 per cent from of the total volume of trade. Ifpi expects that that within three year risen will be until 25 per cent.
The increase of the number legal downloads will the consequence its of a better availability of downloadservices and the extensive offer. Also the different lawsuits a lot of illegal downloaders would have deterred.
