Record number hackattacklen in 2004
Zone-H, an independent website for protections experts and hackers, bred in 2004 almost 400,000 attacks on webservers and -sites. That is an increase with 36 per cent in comparison with 2003.
According to figures of Zone-H, daily on average 2,500 webservers gehackt become, on a total of approximately 45 million servers. Last year there successful was broken in by 70,357 websites, in the jargon a “defacement”.
