The time that external hard disks functional only o so dull boxes were, lies already a time behind us. LaCie goes prevent with the new Bricks-series a step further and let self for the design inspire through known colorful childerspeelgoed.

The 'Brick' comes in two versions: a Desktop Edition with a capacity of 160 until 500 GB, and a Mobile Edition with a size of 40 until 120 GB. LaCie took designer Ora-to under the poor, that the design mustard get went by the known Lego-toys blogs. The Bricks its at the same time hard disk and art object and come red in the cheerful colors, white and blue.

The disks can be piled up nicely on each other by their design. Is a Brick full, then set you it normally a second on top. The Desktop Edition works via usb 2.0 and has a fast hard disk of 7,200 rpm. The Brick Mobile Edition works with a mobile hard disk of 5,400 rpm and slurps its energy directly from the usb-gate; an extra voedingsadapter is thus not necessarily.
