KPN takes about Dutch network KPNQwest
After long thought, KPN finally has decided to take really the Dutch part of the network of the bankrupt KPNQwest about. about the glass fibre cable network in Belgi, Germany and Large-Brittanni yet is negotiated.
KPN reached monday evening agreement with the curators of the KPNQwest. The take-over purchase price has been made not yet known. Next to the Dutch part of the network, KPN has taken about also the operational network center (NOC) in the Hague. about the Belgian, English and German part of a little ever the largest glass fibre cable network in Europe was, is negotiated yet with local curators and banks. KPN can divide connect these in the rear on each other, might take about the business they still yet. The French and Scandanavian parts of the network its meanwhile already sold.
According to curator E. Meijer have the negotiations very long lasted: “It is succeeded. The sale of the business part has disproportionately a lot of time gekost. (..) You wanted to can wonder you or should have had to buy KPN not immediately”. According to the curator, that was KPN however not at the same time closed ready and it lasted the only time before the time frost was.
