For the ERP-package R/3 one launches an upgrade under the name R/3 Enterprise. In 1979 followed R/2, the system for mainframes, and in 1992 R/3, a client-Server software system. It goes then meanwhile round ERP-software, software with several modules as production planning, purchase, supply, et cetera. In 1997 came there a new version of R/3 on internet basis. And for its thirtieth birthday launches JUICE now R/3 Enterprise, based on the technology of webservices, software that consists of via the Neat linked services.
R/3 is one of the building blocks of mySAP. com, the e-business software that not only the back-pantry only also the front-pantry of a business, as customers services, embraces. Neat as the competition throws JUICE self now also on the KMO-market, with their product JUICE Business On, the mini version of mySAP. com. JUICE aims then especially on the smaller, local sale point or partners of large businesses. IT-business Hewlett-Packard becomes distributor for the software. When the software in Belgi available becomes, is not yet clear.
