EU publishes IT-administration for coming years
The European Union (EU) has announced her IT-administration for the coming five year. In the report I2010 becomes uiteenput how the IT-sectors must grow and which place it in the society must take in.,.
The administration of the EU rest on three peilers. First of all it want to improve the issuing of rules. Antiquated rules must become replace through new, that bills love with the technological progress and the digitalisering the society.
The second peiler is investigation. The budget for R&D (Research & Development) is raised in 2007 with 80 per cent.
On the third place strives the EU to a better integration of technology in the society. This must lead for instance till 'more intelligent' cars, better digital libraries and IT-solutions for the home care.
One of the more concrete targets, that in the report I2010 have been taken up, is the doing increase from the number of keep house in Europe with a broad tie connection until 50 per cent. These connections must have a minimal capacity of 3 Mbps. On this moment only 9 per cent of the European keep house has a broad tie connection.
The EU want to let increase also the editions in ICT, and more jobs creren within the sector.
