The proof project of the Central record Collection Rotterdam (CDR) for the digital loan of music appeared a large success. In a month time, more than 100,000 tracks were lent.

CDR-manager Michiel Avenue puts that the expectations amply have been exceeded, with 3000 users that as said more than 100,000 tracks claimed. The loan trial lifted within a separate software player, that has been arranged only for Windows XP.
