Belgian DVD- and game sale rises
From the half a year figures of the Belgian Video Federation (BVF) appeared that DVD and games in Belgi still good sell. Compared by 2006 became there with the first half a year the past half year sixteen per cent more DVD sold.
The good figures its for a large part at television series to thank. “Especially the TV-DVD' s as Desperate Housewives and Loose did the total sale rise”, says Nikolaas De Belie, PR-responsible of BVF.

Next to movies and series also the games were the past half a year more in feature, with an increase of nineteen per cent in sold numbers. Consolegames were generally much more popular than PC games, this comes according to the BVF especially through the launch of new consoles as the PS3 and the Wii, together with a strong sale of games for mobile consoles as the PSP and the Nintendo DS.
